About Us!
Derriaghy Primary School is situated on the Derriaghy Road between Lisburn and Derriaghy Village. The school was built on the current site in the 1960's but replaced a school with historic connections to the old village of Derriaghy.
At Derriaghy Primary School we pride ourselves on the fact that we are a small school. We really are an up and coming school, with much to offer the prospective primary school child.
The school has up to date facilities. It is well equipped with a new library and networked computer suite have been set up within the last two years.
The staff have a range of talents which contribute to a very forward looking school which can meet the needs of your child whatever their ability.
Children have progressed from Derriaghy to the following schools in recent years - Wallace High School, Friends School, Laurelhill, Hunterhouse, Forthill, Dunmurry, Balmoral High School and St. Patrick's.
